"Overview
The Cardiovascular Sonographer performs specialized echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures to evaluate heart and vascular conditions. This role combines cardiac and vascular imaging expertise to provide comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cardiac ultrasound, vascular imaging, and patient care, with experience in cardiology or vascular diagnostic settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms including transthoracic and transesophageal studies.
- Conduct vascular ultrasound procedures for arterial and venous assessments.
- Operate and maintain cardiovascular ultrasound equipment.
- Prepare and position patients for cardiac and vascular imaging procedures.
- Document procedures and findings in EHR systems like Epic or PACS.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and vascular surgeons for diagnostic accuracy.
