Overview
The Infusion Nurse administers IV therapies for patients with chronic or acute conditions. They access ports and manage reactions in oncology or infusion centers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IV therapy and patient care, with experience in infusion settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer IV medications and therapies.
- Monitor patient vital signs during infusions.
- Operate and maintain infusion equipment.
- Document care in EHR systems like Epic.
- Educate patients on infusion procedures.
- Manage inventory of infusion supplies.
