Overview
The Ultrasound Tech performs diagnostic ultrasound exams. They specialize in OB, vascular, or general sonography for non-invasive diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ultrasound technology and patient care, with experience in diagnostic imaging settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound exams like abdominal or vascular studies.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Collaborate with radiologists for results.
- Document procedures in EHR systems like Epic or PACS.
- Manage inventory of ultrasound supplies.
