Overview
The PICU Nurse provides care for critically ill children in the pediatric ICU. They support ECMO and CRRT in Level I peds trauma centers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in pediatric critical care nursing, with experience in PICU settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage critically ill pediatric patients.
- Administer medications and life-support interventions.
- Operate pediatric ICU equipment.
- Document care in EHR systems like Epic.
- Collaborate with pediatric teams.
- Respond to pediatric emergencies.
