Overview
The Oncology Nurse provides care for cancer patients, administering treatments and support. They deliver chemo and manage side effects in infusion or inpatient units. The ideal candidate will have expertise in oncology nursing and patient care, with experience in oncology settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and cancer treatments.
- Monitor patient response to treatments.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Document care in EHR systems like Epic.
- Educate patients on treatment side effects.
- Manage inventory of oncology supplies.
